Jackson County Fair 2008 First place- for my Quick 3D Sampler Quilt in the Sampler Quilt Category

Jackson County Fair 2008 Second place- for my Black And White Friendship Square in the Cotton Pieced  Category.

Jackson County Fair 2008 First place- the Military Monster in the Purse Category.

National Army Arts and Crafts Competition First Place- Awarded for my Army Cube purse, in the professional “fibers” division.   My recycled uniform design has been nationally recognized at the Washington DC level of the competition.  Cash prize awarded.

Korea Army Arts and Crafts Competition First Place- Awarded for my Army Cube purse, in the professional “fibers” division.  After winning in Korea, this bag will go on to compete in the Army-wide competition in Washington DC.

Korea Army Arts and Crafts Competition Honorable Mention- Awarded for my mini drink coaster scrapbook titled, “SYDNEY”, in the novice “mixed media” division.  After winning in Korea, this book will go on to compete in the Army-wide competition in Washington DC.

New Orleans Fashion Group: Alpha Region Bronze- Awarded to a student competitor for original creative fashion collection.  Designs shown at runway show in New Orleans.

Dallas Career Day Honorable Mention- Awarded to student competitor for fashion collection.  Designs shown in a runway fashion show at the Dallas Market Center.
