New Bars Quilt Patterns from ReannaLily Designs
Introducing TWO new quilt patterns from ReannaLily Designs!
If you have seen my If a Person Werta: Hexagons/Curves lecture, you may notice that these new patterns build on the facing technique used in two of my books. (Hexagons Made Easy and Learn to Sew Easy Curves) The elongated circle shape is easy to create and makes for a VERY fast, modern quilt design.
The Basic Bars pattern uses a simple color blocked design in the original quilt. Since there is no piecing in this quilt, the design is perfect to showcase your favorite designer prints! Large scale prints will look great in this quilt. The bars are prepared and machine appliqued to a background. Get this- the background can be ANY size! Your options are wide open. Shop now.
Both quilts include quilting suggested designs. Let’s face it, we can’t have “quilt as desired” 24/7. Sometimes we just want to know how the quilting really looks on cover. =)
1976 gains its title from the mod look and color pallet of the cover quilt. This quilt builds on the basic bar design, but takes the concept a step further by manipulating the bar sizes and circle diameters for each end. There are tips and tricks to “maximize” your fabric usage as well as suggested quilting designs. Arrange the bars as shown in the pattern or arrange them in a manner pleasing to you! Shop now.
Both quilt patterns are available as e-patterns and are ready for immediate download in the pattern shop.
