Guest Lecturer San Antonio Modern Quilt Guild
I’m honored to be invited to speak at my own local San Antonio Modern Quilt Guild. I will be speaking off course from my usual lecture of discussing how I started in pattern design, and the evolution of my career through trials and tribulations, partnerships and networking to a much more focused lecture titled, GET PUBLISHED. There will be plenty of quilts, bags and designs to see along with my Powerpoint slide show. And this will also be the first big reveal of my newest book title and cover art.
I will cover my approach to publishing my own patterns (both on my own and with QuiltWoman.com), Magazine Publications, Book Publications and Contributing Author Publications, as well as getting published online.
If this program is received well, I may add it as a permanent lecture option for other speaking engagements. If you’d like to catch the lecture debut, and see how I have gone about having my own original design work published, stop by the San Antonio Modern Quilt Guild’s January Meeting. January 3rd. Location will be announced on their facebook page, soon, and the meeting starts at 6p. The lecture will begin slightly after that. I will have patterns for sale and door prizes to give.
See you soon!
