Ok, I know the sewing/quilting blog-o-spher is lit up with all the name dropping and the booth photos from market, but I wanted to change it up and show you all the goodies I got to bring home from market!

The picture above has one of the coolest products I saw at market. Printed Zippers.  I kid you not.  The zipper tape is printed, and the coils are on the “underside” like an invisible zipper- except, these are not invisible zippers (see they are right there!! hahahah…. couldn’t resist.)  They are regular plastic non-separating zippers.  And they are gorgeous.  They are by NBK Japan.

I collected quite a few charm packs.  My mom bought me some Sulky Blendables as a gift.  The gift that keeps on giving, I might add.  Thanks, Mom!  We have frixon pens and OOH- Michael Miller has their own color card for the new line of solids.  It definitely rivals the Kona Card.  I think it is something like over 80 colors and the MM solids have the most lovely drape.  I won a pattern from THE Karen Combs {{name dropping!}} and spent a bit of time at the Riley Blake table during sample spree.

Ya’ll, I was even able to buy those hot fix crystals.  I was able to afford the glass version of them, not the crystal form- but I totally want to try them out.  At the shops a package of a dozen or so is about $4-$6.  At market, 140 stones was $20- from Margola.  What in the world am I going to do with them???  I don’t know.  But I cannot wait to find out.

I even left with a fat quarter bundle by Lotta J.  Her stuff is just perfect.  And speaking of fabric designers I really dig- I have a promo sample about 3″ x 6″ of Daisy Janie’s Tilly.  I already have a plan for this tiny piece of fabric.  I’ll show you what I’m making with it, soon.

   A 3″ x 6″ sample…and you are going to make something with it? This will be interesting.

   I can’t wait to see how you use one of those zippers!

   Just got back from Festival! OMG! Icouldn’t even get my head around everything I was seeing! I am so BROKE!
