I’m making some changes here at ReannaLily Designs.  For the past (almost) three years my patterns have been printed and distributed by QuiltWoman.com.  I was able to learn about the business and understand more about the Quilt Industry, markets, shows, retail, wholesale and that whole 50/30 business.  I’m happy to report it is time for me to spread my wings.  I am now taking over the printing and distribution of the ReannaLily Designs pattern line.

As a result- I’m carrying inventory.  Oh man, am I ever!  That feeling of seeing the hard work right there in color, boxed, labeled, correlated, folded and ready for sale is so very rewarding.

Three of my pattern titles have the instructions printed at McCalls Pattern Company.  The instructions are on newsprint, just like a commercial pattern.  I LOVE them.

Something I wasn’t expecting, but was REALLY cool, was that instead of using packing peanuts to ship the inventory, they used pattern tissue.  My apparel design heart skipped a tiny beat.  There was ALOT of pattern tissue.  I’m guessing it is scrap or misprint.

One change with taking over ReannaLily Designs titles is that my Boxed series of patterns is now rolled into one big Mulit Pattern.  The title is Box Bonanza and offers two quilt sizes AND 4 different layout options, in one tidy pattern.  You are going to love it.  More on that shortly.

Once I received the inserts via UPS, I needed to pick up my other patterns/covers at my local Off-Set printer.  They were amazing to work with.  I ordered a few patterns…

And now I have to fit a few patterns in the home office/studio.

And now the fun begins….  Press releases, product catalogs, pattern assembly, shipping and all kinds of fun business-y stuff.  Big things are on the horizon.  You can see the whole catalog and check out ordering information on the NEW Wholesale page of this website.  I cannot wait!  When you are shopping make sure you ask for ReannaLily Designs patterns at your local quilt shop.  I have plenty to send!

   Oh wow, look at all those patterns! How fabulous. So gla dyou are branching out and spreading your wings ! You are about to take off and just become a common name to all quilters

   That looks awesome! How are you going to set up your mailing area??? I think a trip to Ikea is necessary! And with really cool bins!
