101 Patchwork Projects GIVE AWAY
Have you seen the first ever, biggest issue, most busting-at-the-seams-full magazine, 101 Patchwork Projects?
{give away is now closed.}

"This super-sized 196-page issue is packed with quick and easy contemporary patchwork projects, including home décor, gifts, wearables, and accessories." -Interweave Store
I’m honored to have one of my designs included in the pages. It is a coin purse. I made the purse using recycled linen (pants from a thrift store) and English paper-pieced hexagons, each side of the hex is 1/2″ long. My blog followers know how many hexagons constitute “plenty” on a project… and this one is no exception. The purse is trimmed with a whopping 4, count’em 4!, hexagons.
(I blurred the construction images on purpose- copy right and all.)
One of the goals I set for myself and my company was to have something accepted into a magazine and make the cover. So far, no cover. I have a few other things in the works, we’ll just have to see if those projects make it to the covers. I have to say, though, I do feel like I’m getting closer. I found the coin purse on the table of contents and in the chapter header. Yes, this magazine is so big and awesome, it has CHAPTERS! You can see some of the other 101 projects in the pictures below. The one thing I’m itching to make is the Pojagi headband, p 46.
Here’s a fun little bit about the coin purse project. This isn’t some run-of-the-mill zippered coin purse. This is a divided purse for your to add your credit cards, money and coins. The project even includes a back pocket for your business cards. 3 pockets in a project so small. AND all three pockets are very easy to construct.
To celebrate the ReannaLily Designs coin purse in the new 101 Patchwork Projects magazine, I’m giving away a copy of the magazine AND a stitched coin purse! I have to say, the stitched coin purse included in the prize is one of the test purses I made when I double-checked my construction directions. Sadly, this sample does not have cute hexagons, but I thought you might be able to overlook that since it does feature LOVELY Amy Butler Fabrics.
