Ok, this is my first post, since setting up the subscribe/feeds features on my blog. Lets see if they work…
I’ve recently been asked to make two baby quilts. I started off with a bargello-y type rainbow quilt. I showed you the strips and parts of the process and now, the top is assembled!
She also has a son. The restriction on that quilt was “make it boy-ee”. I started in on it and decided to go with greens and cream colors. Its a two-color quilt.
Alrighty. These are 4″ squares cut and ready to go to make blocks based on the Jewel Box block from the Quilter’s Cache. If you haven’t been to that site, you should. Its amazing! More quilting resources than a little bit! So here’s the block. Its very bold, since it only has two colors, so there are many many design possibilities, once you this one little unit.
Thanks for checking out my blog and my quilt post… and hey, if you were notified about this post via email or other site feed- let me know in the comments section. THANKS! ~jen~
